Collective Studio Ltd.

Small runs on this page are cut and sewn by Collective Studio Ltd., a Narayanganj factory making small quantities since 2019, to support new businesses and creators. We manage your tech pack, sampling, quality checks and DDP delivery exactly as on our own orders, and we name the factory in writing before production. Both our founders work with Collective Studio Ltd.: Homaira Jashim is a co-founder and AB is Head of Growth; see our founders. The partner prices its runs separately.

Caps: structure, closure and the front panel

A cap is specified by its panels and its structure: a six-panel cap with a structured front (buckram-backed) holds a logo flat; a five-panel or unstructured dad cap sits softer; a beanie is a knitted rib. The closure, snapback, strap with buckle or fitted, and the visor, curved or flat, follow. Cotton twill is the standard cap fabric; the partner’s stock covers the usual weights and shades. The front panel is the decoration surface, embroidered in a special frame that keeps the logo away from the centre seam.

  • Panels: five or six; structured or unstructured front
  • Closure: snapback, strap with metal buckle, fitted
  • Visor: curved or flat; stitched or plain
  • Sweatband and taping colour inside
  • Eyelets: embroidered or metal

Bags: fabric weight and handles

A tote is judged by its fabric weight and its handles. Cotton canvas of around 8–12 oz is the everyday tote; heavier canvas gives a structured bag with a base; a lighter cotton suits a promotional bag. Handles are self-fabric, webbing or rope, at a stated length and with bar tacks or box stitching at the attachment. Inside pockets, a base gusset and a zip closure are the finishing choices. Drawstring bags and pouches are the same fabric family with a cord channel.

Logos on accessories

Embroidery is the cap standard: a front logo up to the size the panel allows, with the stitch file digitised for a curved, structured panel and sewn out on the bulk cap for approval. Bags take screen printing well, one or two colours on natural or coloured canvas, and embroidery for a premium look. A woven label on the back of the cap or the side seam of the bag carries the brand and the care and origin content your market requires.

Selling accessories with apparel

Caps and bags are usually ordered alongside a tee or hoodie run and packed with it, which is how a small brand gets a coherent drop from one shipment. Each accessory style carries its own 100-piece minimum per colour, and stock shades keep the set matched without a dye lot.

Samples, approval and delivery

A sample cap or bag with the logo in place is made and approved, then sealed. Production with inline checks and a final inspection follows, and the goods ship DDP to your door in about 40–50 days door to door as one landed cost, with the apparel they belong to if ordered together.

Questions about small-run caps and bags.

Can I get 100 caps with my logo embroidered?

Yes. One hundred pieces per style and colour is the minimum, and a cap order is specified by its panels and structure, six-panel structured or five-panel unstructured, its closure, snapback, strap or fitted, and its visor, curved or flat, in cotton twill from the partner’s stock shades. The logo is embroidered on the front panel, digitised for a curved, structured surface and kept away from the centre seam, and sewn out on the actual cap for your approval before the run; a small second logo on the side or back is a separate position. Inside, the sweatband and taping colour are yours to choose, and a woven label at the back carries the brand and the care and origin content your market requires. Caps are usually ordered with a tee or hoodie run and shipped together, so send the logo file and the cap style you like with the enquiry and we sample it alongside the apparel.

What weight should a tote bag be?

It depends on what the bag is for. A cotton canvas of around 8–12 oz is the everyday tote: it carries shopping, holds a printed logo well and folds flat. Heavier canvas of 12 oz and above gives a structured bag that stands up, suits a base gusset and reads as a retail product rather than a giveaway. A lighter cotton of 4–6 oz is right for a promotional bag or a dust bag for another product. The handles matter as much as the body: self-fabric or webbing handles at a stated length, attached with bar tacks or box stitching so they do not pull away, decide how the bag wears. Inside pockets, a zip closure and a base are the finishing choices. Screen printing in one or two colours suits canvas at 100 pieces, and embroidery gives a premium look. Tell us the bag’s purpose and we propose a canvas from stock with the sample.

Can accessories be ordered with my clothing run and shipped together?

Yes, and that is the usual way. Caps and bags carry their own minimum of 100 pieces per style and colour, but they are sampled alongside the tees or hoodies they belong to, cut in matching stock shades so the drop looks coherent, inspected in the same final inspection and packed and shipped with the apparel as one DDP delivery to your door. Planning them together also lets the logo be digitised once and adapted for the cap front, the chest embroidery and the bag print, so the brand mark is consistent across the range. The one caution is timing: a cap needs its own sample and approval, so send the cap and bag specifications with the apparel enquiry rather than adding them after the apparel sample is approved, or the accessories will follow in a separate shipment. Everything is named in the order confirmation, with the partner factory and its address.
