Both. We are a manufacturer and a buying house, based in Narayanganj, on the edge of Dhaka. We make knitwear and caps in our own factory, the factory of our sister company, Collective Studio Ltd.: T-shirts, polos, hoodies and sweatshirts, activewear, team kits, underwear and loungewear, swimwear, kidswear and babywear, and caps. For those you deal directly with the manufacturer, not a middleman. Denim, leather and everything else we source from an audited partner factory that specialises in it, because factories in Bangladesh are specialists: the unit that makes excellent jersey t-shirts is rarely the right one for denim or seam-sealed jackets. Working through us gives you one point of contact and one company accountable for fabric, fit, quality and delivery, while each style is made in a factory suited to it. Before production starts, we tell you which factory will make your order and share its audit reports and certificates. Your order stays in the factory you approved, and any change is agreed with you in writing first. You are welcome to visit the factory or send your own inspector at any stage.

Quality is checked at several points, not only at the end. Before cutting, bulk fabric is tested against the approved swatch you signed off, because a fabric fault found after cutting is repeated in every piece. You approve a sample or a report at each stage, and the approved pre-production sample is the standard against which bulk is judged. When sewing starts, we check quality on the line and return through production, so problems are caught while they can still be corrected. Finished, packed goods then go through a final random inspection using AQL sampling to ISO 2859-1, covering workmanship, measurements, labels and cartons. You receive the inspection report before you approve shipment. Where your market requires lab testing, such as colour fastness, dimensional stability or restricted substances, ask for it at quotation, so the tests and the laboratory are agreed before production.

FOB, CIF and DDP are Incoterms rules that set how far our price takes your order: loaded on board in Bangladesh, shipped to your destination port, or delivered to your door with duty paid. Under FOB (Free on Board) we clear the goods for export and load them on board at Chattogram, and your freight forwarder takes over from there. CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) adds sea freight and insurance to your destination port, while you handle import clearance and delivery. Under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) we deliver to your warehouse with import duties and taxes paid, so the price you approve is close to your landed cost. FOB gives you the most control over freight costs; DDP is the simplest option for smaller brands and online sellers without a forwarder. Whichever term you choose, we prepare the export documents and certificates of origin that let your goods claim duty-free or reduced-duty entry where your market allows it.

Sea freight leaves from Chattogram sea port and air freight from Dhaka airport, on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, so the destination changes the route, the documents and the duty, not whether we can ship. What differs most between countries is what happens at the border: the import duty, the origin document that claims a preference, the language and content of the label, and product-safety rules such as those for children’s clothing. That is the main reason to use a buying house, because a knit factory that makes good jersey tees is rarely the right place for washed denim, which needs its own wash plant. Each product still has to meet its own minimum, counted per style and colour: 500 pieces for t-shirts and for hoodies, and 2,000 for denim jeans. You approve a sealed sample for every style, each factory is named to you in writing with its audit reports before production, and every site is inspected to the same AQL. Delivery dates are confirmed per style in the order confirmation.
