Top 10 clothing manufacturers in Bangladesh (2026)

Bangladesh’s largest clothing manufacturers are big vertical groups that knit or weave fabric, dye it, and sew garments for global retailers. Below are ten well-established groups, split by what they specialise in. Every fact comes from the company’s own website or named trade press, checked on 18 September 2026.

Knitwear groups

1. DBL Group

Established in 1991 and focused on 100% export-oriented composite knit garments and textiles, with production facilities in Gazipur.

2. Epyllion Group

Entered garment manufacturing in 1994 at Mirpur with two sewing lines and 200 employees. It now reports 160 sewing lines and more than 23,000 employees, with its own accessories, textile, washing, yarn-dyeing and testing units.

3. Square Fashions

Part of Square, which entered the textile business in 1997. It runs a vertical set-up with fibre dyeing, knitting and garment making, producing t-shirts, polo shirts and sweatshirts for men, women and children.

4. Viyellatex

A knit composite apparel and textile manufacturer that started in 1996, making menswear, womenswear and kidswear.

5. Fakir Group

Based in Fatullah, Narayanganj, with its own knitting, dyeing, sewing, finishing and packaging facilities, plus a spinning unit.

Woven, denim and outerwear groups

6. Ha-Meem Group

Reports 26 garment factories alongside denim fabric, sweater and accessories units, about 7 million woven garments a month and around 50,000 workers. Head office in Tejgaon, Dhaka.

7. Envoy Group

Established in 1984 with a focus on ready-made garments and textiles. Its denim mill, Envoy Textiles, is LEED Platinum certified.

8. Pacific Jeans Group

A denim manufacturer founded in 1984 in the Chattogram Export Processing Zone, exporting jeans to more than 50 countries. Its seven factories reopened on 23 October 2025 after a week-long closure during labour unrest.

9. Ananta Companies

Founded in 1992 as a 100% export-oriented woven garment maker producing trousers, shirts and jackets, based in Ashulia since 2005.

10. Snowtex Group

Established in 1998, making jackets, windbreakers, workwear, safety wear and sportswear in units in Dhamrai and Dhaka, and describes itself as a LEED Platinum-certified apparel manufacturer.

What this list means for smaller brands

Groups of this size are built for high-volume retail programmes. They typically plan capacity around large seasonal orders and long-term buyers, so a new brand ordering a few hundred pieces per style is rarely a fit.

If your quantities are smaller, you have two realistic options:

• Mid-sized specialist factories that focus on one product category and accept lower minimums.
